About Us

Welcome to PT Wealth Journey, a personal finance site created by a PT and OT geared towards building a generation of wealthy therapists.

Too many of us are living paycheck to paycheck, drowning in debt or are stuck in a job we hate only to end up brokeout of shape or BOTH in the process.

My wife and I were on the same path and were feeling very discouraged, but this all changed when we learned how to manage our finances, investing and preparing ourselves to take advantage of opportunities whenever they strike.

Mission, Vision & Purpose

Our mission is to spread financial literacy and positively impact lives through sharing our stories and insights while working towards living a rich life — in more ways than one.

Through being one of many voices sharing their experience and knowledge towards intentional living, My goal is to contribute to a future where less of us are feeling stuck or hopeless because of the lack of money or fulfillment.

I hope to especially speak to physical and occupational therapists and other public servants who have chosen a career to help others but in turn, may fail to help themselves.

I’m here to let you know that you don’t have to set yourself on fire to keep others warm.

Break FREE

If you’re looking to break free from the societal norm of living paycheck to paycheck in a job that you only half like, then you’ve found some like-minded people.

I hope the resources and content I put out into the world can both empower and enlighten you in the same way we have been and that you learn from our mistakes.

We didn’t get into healthcare for the money, but we also didn’t get into it to struggle financially

You have already demonstrated your intelligence and capabilities through your education. With the right mindset and determination, you have the power to achieve anything you set your mind to. It’s within your reach to learn how to eliminate debt and create lasting wealth that can benefit future generations. Remember, not only are you capable of achieving financial success, but you also deserve it.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Her there! For now I’m anonymous due to still working and not wanting to be “found out”. I’m a physical therapist who is not only passionate about health and physical fitness, but I also developed a passion for all things personal finance. I began to see the financial struggles of many other healthcare professionals especially physical therapists. Hence, my creation of PT Wealth Journey.

Fun Facts:

  1. My wife and I dated for 10 years before I proposed. I blame it on a 7 year PT program followed by my residency.
  2. I’m fairly athletic and strong, but my ability to move and survive in water is limited to a pitiful doggy paddle.
  3. I’m a night owl and a morning person – That is until I encounter the hunger to do something new, then I become an insomniac.
